Highlight Reel

Farewell summer! Fall is fully upon us. Everything has been sprinkled with pumpkin spice and our shorts are being replaced with shackets. We usually take this time of the year to reflect on some of our memorable activations from the summer.

The G of G Inc team got back to touring! We were excited to be a part of the Foodland Harvest Tour (which will be wrapping up at the end of the month). This 6-week tour has stops all over cottage country. Our mobile food truck would park at various Foodland locations and create an afternoon of fun for shoppers and passersby, while also giving back to local charities by facilitating donations from the public.

We also were a part of an awesome activation for everyone’s favourite summer cocktail, the Aperol Spritz. Our staff were giving out complimentary full-size cocktails on patios across the GTA. We also brought the spritz out of the city and visited the beautiful Friday Harbour in Innisfil.

I think it is safe to say that everyone’s cleaning habits have improved since the beginning of the pandemic. Clorox wipes are on everyone’s shopping list, and if you happened to be at a concert at Budweiser stage this summer, you might have been lucky enough to run into our Clorox Street Team! Our team was giving out travel size packs to concert goers and the feedback was amazing! Comments included “I love that it is the perfect size for my bag to make my travel back home after the concert safe!” and “these wipes are great to wipe my concert seat down, thank you Clorox!”.

Although in Ontario, we did not get the celebrate with the CNE this year, Vancouver’s PNE was back! Our team was on site representing Freedom Mobile and Shaw. This 2-week activation was high energy, and we got to meet new people everyday. It was so exciting to see a large-scale event like the PNE back in action.

The Boat Rally for Kids in support of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital was a special event to be a part of this year. Our servers and bartenders headed up to Muskoka for a weekend long activation. The Boat Rally was like a summertime Christmas. With boats covered in lights and décor, it is truly a site to see! With fun, games, and food to enjoy, guests had a blast in support of an amazing cause.

Central Park Summer Stage was in full swing, and along side Calvin Klein we got to host a very fun show along with some great performances by the best Drag performers around. It was a little rainy that day, but you couldn’t rain on our parade and with all the yummy food that was served, our guests had a great time.

In San Jose, we have another concert series going on every Friday on campus. Our reps are checking people in and getting them excited about the concert. Who doesn’t love being back to enjoying live music? This concert series will go until the end of the month.

The Boston Marathon is BACK, and we couldn’t be happier. We love having our reps cheering on the runners at different points in the race with our various client samplings.

There are just a few of our summertime highlights! With a summer that resembled a little bit more normalcy, what would you say was the highlight of yours?
