Wining and dining in the comfort of your own home – what could be better? Our CEO recently took part in a virtual wine tasting event. This online event was hosted by wine expert Lexi, who effortlessly guided guests through the nights tasting. The wines in the spotlight, which were delivered prior to the special night, were Ladera Napa Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 and Gruet Limited Release Grand Blanc de Noirs 2013. In advance of the virtual event, attendees were also sent recipes for the perfect food pairing that would bring out the flavors of each wine. It was up to each individual attendee to decide if they wanted to prepare these meals to enjoy during the call. Serving tips were provided for how to best prepare the products (chilled for 15 mins, decanting 30 mins prior, etc.). Lexi hosted an amazing evening, and we cannot wait for the next event!
Virtual and hybrid events have grown exponentially in popularity during Covid. With that being said, G of G Inc is always looking for camera ready and confident hosts for virtual events. Are you currently taking some training to improve your resume? Have you been hosting online events during the last year, or are you considered an expert in your field? If so, we want to hear from you! We are always looking to pair hosts with brands our clients represent, and with online events, the possibilities and combinations are endless!
Virtual events can include hosts that range from wine experts and sommeliers to bartenders and mixologists, or even chefs. Outside of the realm of food and beverage, hosts can be certified personal trainers or yoga instructors, art teachers or musicians, comedians, or inspirational speakers. Hosts can also be just a friendly and outgoing face that you want to associate with your brand, who can host discussions and moderate games utilizing branded gifts (that can be sent out prior to the event), such as branded BINGO cards, branded shakers and mixers, t-shirts with your logo and more!
