The Year In Review
As we clean up after the first snow fall of the year in Toronto, the birthplace of G of G Inc, we realize it is about that time of the year when we reflect on some of the most memorable activations our team was a part of over the last twelve months.
Our Indeed Ready to Work program stopped in four major markets over the year to bring to town an experience that helped job seekers find success in the workforce. We stopped in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Washington DC. The drop in experience consisted of stations that assisted with job search preparation, provided career advice/services, job consultations, head shots, key speakers and more! We loved bringing together teams of this size and seeing the teamwork and smiles that came out of working on a promotion that brought a positive impact to the cities the brand ambassadors lived in.
Festivals are always an exciting environment to work at. Some of these festivals were returning for the first time after the pandemic so it was even more amazing to be there for the return of some amazing acts coming together. You could find our brand ambassadors bringing the fun at Rolling Loud and VELD in Toronto, Freaky Deaky in Houston, Mo Pop in Detroit, Breakaway in Grand Rapids, Imagine Festival in Georgia and so many more! It was a crazy festival season, but we loved every minute of it.
We loved connecting with the LBGTQ+ community as we activated at many PRIDE festivals across the USA from coast to coast. From Palm Springs with HBO Max to Atlanta Black Pride with various brands, we loved every minute of it. We even got to hang out with some of the best Drag Queens at each event.
Though it was not an event that our team worked at, we cannot forget to mention the Youth Lead Conference put on by the Pinball Foundation on November 26. Our office team was lucky enough to participate in a day that brought together inspiring guest speakers like Wes Hall, influencers, and various executives to meet with and empower future leaders by providing mentorship, guidance, and support as they enter the workforce. Being a part of this day was so memorable and special and G of G Inc looks forward to helping support the Pinball Foundation and its goal of supporting 250,000 youth over the next 5 years.
This time of year is not just a time of reflection but also a time to say THANK YOU to our brand ambassadors as well as the brands and clients we work with. We truly value the relationships that have continued to grow over the years as well as the new clients and brand ambassadors who have created a partnership with us in 2022. We look forward to growing with you all in 2023 and are so excited to see what the year has in store!
